The CL 206 has established a common reputation as a small and particularly slim universal loudspeaker for professional users.
In the new self-powered version, the CPD 26 now extends the CPD series of active KS AUDIO systems with a PWM power amplifier and DSP controller. Two integrated amplifiers supply the 6” speaker with 200W and the 1” driver with 50W continuous output - peak capacity is 400W. An integrated delay makes comprehensive sound coverage an effortless matter.
Electronic crossover and FIR filter are precisely matched to the loudspeakers and increase reproduction quality significantly compared to the passive version. There is practically no field of application where the CPD 26 cannot be applied successfully: sound reinforcement in theaters and on live-music stages, comprehensive decentralized sound coverage for large rooms and tents, delay system for remote areas, and not least as a compact mid-high range system in combination with CPD B subwoofers. With CPD 26, KS AUDIO offers a universally applicable active sound reinforcement loudspeaker with the highest audio quality in a compact slim format to the demanding professional user.
The system comprises two 100Wrms 6” low-mid frequency speakers and a 1” ND driver featuring an exceptionally even and wide sound radiation. Therefore, the CPD 26 is almost equally well-suited for horizontal and vertical installation. Like any KS AUDIO system, cabinet construction is made of birch multiplex and has a PU coating. It can also be coated individually and in any RAL colors according to customers’ requirements.
Flange adapter, 4x M6 threads and steel protection grille with or without acoustic foam are further features of this high-quality product.
The 2-way controlled amplifier installed in the rear panel operates highly efficient and requires no - often disturbing - cooling fan.
The electronically balanced in/out section is equipped with XLR-F and -M connector. Apart from the power switch, there are further control elements available: an individual adaptation to the operating site can be precisely handled by level and delay setting using keys and LED display.
